Question:

Why does everyone hate on the Warriors?

They got as good if not better players then almost all the teams, but nobody take them serious to make a run deep into the playoffs. They got 3 20+ a game scorers n added some interior D with Turiaf. I think they have taken care of most of their weakness this offseason.

  1. Have you ever seen the crowd at home games? Come One! Why does everyone hate them? LOL!

  2. I dont hate them they are a good team in fact they are my 3rd favorite team and i like how they play. Its like watching my suns play they are very exciting but the baron davis think was not to good because he was very damb good and good luck in next season :)

  3. It's something I want to know too.  I'd say its cause people are jealous.

  4. I like the team, but I don't like their chances. They got Turiaf from my Lakers to solve some interior defense but the team will never be about defense if they keep playing Nellieball.

They have a bunch of scorers but no one to distribute the ball effectively. They might get 48 wins again (I doubt it though), but won't make the playoffs because of the tough West. I like the chances of the Clippers more.

  5. Why do you think that everyone hates on the warriors because thats bullcrap.

  6. I'VE BEEN HATING ON THEM BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THEM!

THERE FANS MADE T-SHIRTS ABOUT ME HATING ON THEM!

THEN THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR!!

  7. its not that ppl dont like them.. its just a completely new team that people have doubts about. They have a very different looking team this year and even I am skeptical if they can win as many games as they did last season but I am hopeful that they do.

Gettin rid of baron has its negatives and positives and ppl are only seeing the negatives at this point. First, Baron didn't shoot all that good of a percentage, especially from 3. He shot way too many 3 pointers and although he did make alot some games, his overall % wasn't all that pleasing. Maggette will match Baron's percentage or have a better % from the field and 3's (he doesn't shoot nearly as many as i think he should.. last season his 3 point shot was much improved).

Monta's fg attempts will rise and since he gets to the rim so often, his % wont drop very much and his scoring will definitely rise.

We actually have a big man now who can defend and somewhat rebound in Turiaf. He's the closest thing we have to a legitimate nba center besides andris and we can definitely use him when andris is resting or if he has an injury. He fills out the role of back up center much better than anyone we've had in the past couple of years. He wont make that great of an impact on our team but his energy will definitely contribute.

I guess it all comes down to how monta handles the pressure to run the team. basketballs just a game.. even if he cant run the pt that well.. i think that jackson can bring the ball up and initiate the offense just as much as ellis does in a game so in the end it all works itself out.

Perimeter defense might be an issue with this team though.. as long as they score more than the other team its all good!

  8. its la bandwagon fans that are mad about the clippers bandwagon they thought they had it going but it broke down

  9. I like 'em...but then again I do live in the BAY lol.

  10. cause people are g*y, the Laker fans, Celtic fans, and Suns fans dont know c**p about the NBA, there nothing but bandwagon fans, they just pretend there with the team but once they suck they don't care and don't rout for their team until they get good again, the Warrior nation actually supported through all of the tough times

  11. As well as the Warriors have taken care of business during the offseason, Baron Davis is a BIG void to fill and as a result they don't have a proven true PG on the roster.  They also haven't done much to bolster their rebounding.  If Monta has a monster year they will make the playoffs, but they are probably a year or two (and a few good players) away from seriously contending in the West.

That being said, they sure got all of their young players set on the team and their future looks bright.

  12. cuz of the we belive c**p

  13. maybe it was the whole sweep of the mavs that started it

  14. They don't play defense.

  15. It has to do with them being being from the Bay.  LA  and the NY/Boston area get all the media attention.  ESPN is the most bias sports station in the U.S.  Clippers will suck all the hype is just hype.  It just like the Dodgers in baseball when they said Jones was a great signing and that the Dodgers would be good.  It is all because of a media bias.
