Why does everyone hate the pats?

i think its because they were 18-1

i just hate how when they got cheating they used its as an excuse why they were doing good

I want 2 say I respect the pats but love 2 hate them. Im from Pittsburgh and its hard 2 say that but its true. Just like the cowboys hate them 2 but its respect that is what matters most. There are a lot of haters out there and have no clue what they are talking about when it comes 2 sports. Food for thought look at the past SB winners and the cities that won:  

Pittsburgh 5

San Fran  5

Dallas      5

Green Bay 3

NY Giants  3

Oak/LA Raiders 3

Washington 3

New England 3

There are 30 SBs between all these cities and these are the most storied franchises in the NFL. There are a few more not listed sorry if your team is not up here. I have RESPECT for a lot of teams I hate. But that does not mean they SUCK! If you look back on the teams that dominate there are many people who are jealous and Im one of them. The pats and colts have good teams and i just wish i could say the same for my team. But count the RINGS thats what really matters!

If you really have to ask this question, then you are in complete denial.  However, I do respect any player who stands by their team through the thick and thin.  The Patriots reputation is shot, but eventually people will let it go after a couple of seasons of negative media hype.

Because, while new england fans love them, the rest of us get tired of hearing how wonderful they are, and how great that they got randy moss, and how cute tom brady is and on and on and on and on. They are good, they play hard, clean football, but they are not the second coming of Christ, and we would like to hear some more info about the rest of the league. I live in Georgia, and (for better or worse, they are the hometown team) I am a Falcons fan.

I like them and I am a Steelers fan. LT said it best if you are not cheating then you are not trying. I was puling for them to go 19-0  after they beat my team.Just to shut up ex-con Mercury Morris.

It's jealousy. The same reason people hate the Patriots is the same reason they hated the Cowboys in the 1990's so much. They're great, their team isn't, so they find excuses why.

This is why, believe it or not, I get along with a lot of Patriots fans. I know exactly what it's like to be hated.
