  1. aaw don't worry about it, once you hit yr 8 there's a fresh new batch of yr 7's for everyone to get annoyed with lol.

but maybe because they're so tiny, immature, annoying?

with massive bags i gotta say =P

but hey, that was once me too lol

  2. just cos you're the new ones n they dont dare pick on any1 theiir own size.. i know thiis cos ii see ppl piickiin on yr 7s im in yr9

  3. bcuz they like picking on younger kids

  4. They dont-not in my school anyway. We have a great like 'community' in our school and most people just get on!

  5. 1st years are the same in Ireland... I was one last year and God, they hate them coz they have verything perfect and just annoying lol :P

EDIT: We also hate the year below us in my school lol

  6. Yeah, I think it has to do with the fact that year sevens are new. I felt like that when I was in year 7 (I'm 23 & at uni now though!). By year 8 you've got everything worked out ie where you hang out, where everything is etc and these little buggers come along with their fresh faces (and uniforms) and think they own the joint!

    It'll be over soon!

  7. gah! this happens at my school too! Its because alot of people (namely boys) haven't yet grown up and seem immature. And its because its the first year of high school (in Australia) and they get seperated from the school so much by the teachers! At our school they made a seperate roll call just for Year 7s, so they can be "looked after"!! Also, they are all new to the school, so it seems to everyone that there are a lot of new little brats running around everywhere!

  8. They don't hate you, it's kind of like the new kid thing, but instead of it being one kid it's a whole year of them. As you are "the new kids" they try and take advantage of you and try to scare you. It'll all be over next year though. Don't worry I have the same problem at the moment.

  9. Cause theyre small and they get under your feet.

  10. im a year 11 and most of all i can not stand the kids from year 10... the kids in grade 7 are so young and immature like the other two middle school grades. we've all been there

  11. We have year 7s in the UK as well ???Wabby?.. (11 to 12 year olds)

Anyway, they get picked on because they're the 'new guys' and look really young and immature - it's a big gap between the oldest and the youngest in secondary school and to us, year 7's look incredibly little and I guess some people pick on them because they're easy targets.

  12. they dont like them because they are immature like 6th graders (usa)

  13. because you just left elementary school and you don't know what to expect. it's like "junior high school" so teachers expect a lot from you and you have peer pressure from all around. people couldbe mean too!

  14. this happens in my skool too.

  15. I'm in year 8 (in aus) and at my school it's not like really bad bullying or anything but for some reason it's just natural to hate the year 7's. They are still kids. They are young, clueless and inexperienced and many of them haven't even started going through puberty so they are just immature and plain annoying sometimes.

When I was in year 7 I remember asking "why do all the older kids hate year 7's?"

But then when I started year 8 I started to hate the year 7's too.

I think it's just the way things work and trust me when you're in year 8 you will most likely find them annoying aswell

    :)

  16. Cause you little kids think you own the place, running around being pricks, you should respect your elders.

  17. That doesn't happen in my school, everyone in my school loves year sevens and thinks they are cute,

    xxxx

  18. Most people on this site are from the UK or from the USA, so they don't know how old year sevens are.

I don't think everyone hates them. I've found that people dislike year 9s the most because (in Australia) it's your second year of high schooling, so you're not shy like you were in year 8 and a lot of teens attitudes start at this age.

I never hated a year in general, just individuals who ruined it for others.

    ...

  19. me and my friends loved year 7 so just the people u talk to hate it i don't think there's anything wrong with it.they problem miss it

  20. not everyone hates year 7's its just sometimes they don't fit in very well OR year 7's haven't ajusted to high school so there being really immature. Just try to act natural - but a little grown up - and also when i was in year 7 i didn't care what any other years thought - thats there loss if they don't like you!

  21. i dont htink people hate them ... but in my school last year .. year seven 12-13 year olds ... the older kids useto call us names and stuff idk it also happens every year =]

  22. Its cuz some people dont like the idea of the year 7s in the school...me and my friends bag the annoying ones but we dont mind them.......they are ok sometimes!

  23. well.. im going into yr 9 [summer hols YAY] , i dnt h8 them.. i think they're the cutest! but i thinbk some do.. coz they first come there, like the youngest, and 2 weeks in the chool, they start copying the olders.. and wearing makeup, and lifting their skirts && stuff... && jus tryna b oldah.. bt i dnt h8 them they r jus too cute ;')

  24. lol thats what it was like at BITH the middle schools i went too. all the grade 8s hated the grade 7s. why? cause their little and stupid. lmfao

the grade 8s basicly rule the school so we dont talk to little sevies.

i have "friends" in grade 7... they think we like them but we talk about how annoying they are being thier back lololol

except for one but hes like the coolest kid you will EVER meet <3

  25. I Think It Is Because You Are New To The School And You Are Younger Then All Of Them So They Think That Is The  Best Sort Person To Pick On.
