Why does everyone in Los Angeles cheer for the Raiders?

Get with the program! Raiders left LA over a decade ago! Why does everyone in LA still like them?

Besides, I thought SoCal never cheers for a Bay Area team? Shouldn't they be going for the Chargers or something?

I don't see people in LA still cheering for the Rams!

Nobody i know cheers for the Raiders !!I'm a big Chargers fan so i hate the Raiders.The Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL.

When the Raiders played in LA they were a good team ,now that there back up in no cal they stink.The Chargers own the Raiders!!

I have always wondered this, but it is because the Raiders make people gangster. Like near where I live (San Diego) people can't even show their own Charger pride. Most wear Raider shirts because if they don't then gangs will beat them up. These gangs are mostly from LA.

why do you care? you root for whoever you want to and let other people do the same it's their choice

It's just like UNC there merchandise is all over the U.S. and people in CA to Maine like UNC because of MJ and i live in friggin NC and there is way more NC State fans where I live, but i'm one

It's probably because of the legends that have played and coached for the Raiders, it is a very historic team, like the Packers there is people all over that like them too

Because they don't want to jump from one team to the other... Generally when you pick a team, you stick with them for life.
