Can you not accept the fact that we're actually trying ot do something good? Sure no one wants to be in a war but that doesnt mean its an evil war, Saddam killed thouasands while ruling, we're staying over there becasue we're making sure innocent people wont get slaughterd after we leave, we're helping those countries get there economy back up and running along with their goverments, yet some how every1 goes to the conclusion of oil, well gas prices are goin up so if thats the case the we must be losing this "war"

  1. they don't want our help.

  2. Ok look and see who is profiting off of us being in Iraq. Do some research and you will find that certein people have profited greatly from every war we have every been in. Look at Dufar why aren't we there? easy answer no oil. That isn't the only reason we are in Iraq. Why should we dictate the type of goverment Iraq has. How much of the problems between shites and sunis have we caused? Gas prices are not going up because of the war they are going up because of greed.

  3. We are in Iraq for many reason.  None worth a single American life.  Saddam has been long gone.  He was not a threat to the world.  We are under no threat from Iraq.  I have seen no evidence of any weapons they are donating family cars and cell phones to rid themselves of what they believe to be western influence.

This is a society that believes women should not be educated, not drive, pray 5 times of day, men can kill women and dispose of as if the equivalent of a dog.

Not only but the have convinced these people that this is the will of God and they must sacrifice their lives to protect this way of life.

This ignorance is still being battled in America.  You plan on remaining in Iraq till every last muslim changes religion, rewrites the holy book?

Its only through knowledge that these people will find the truth not killing.

And at the same time dedicating another generation of our youth.  The same declarer of war violate our vote, deregulate all rich business allowing them to become corrupt and prey upon the American people and causing millions to die needlessly with out the benefit of health care, financially devastate those that began to trust in the stock market.. Our beautiful America is under attack but not from some unknown faceless person but our own government.  They have crippled and killed their own citizens while professing to be worried about Iraq.

  4. The US is not there to do good....The US doesn't do good unless there is something in it for the US...read the small print.

  5. oh yeah just look at all the oil we have....

i mean if you're against it for other reasons ok i understand but we're obviously not getting any oil out of it.

  6. Yeah I agree. Noone wants to be at war but sometimes there is no choice - are we supposed to just sit back and let the terrorists get away with murder? Im fed up with the PC bregade whinging about 'human rights' and trying to make a conspiracy therory out of everything.

This country is going down the pan. We let muslim extremists walk all over us.

What other choice is there than war?

Do you want to allow terrorists to fly jumbo jets into scy scrapers and blow up trains and let them get away with it?

Noone complained about the brave men who fought in world war 2 and saved us from the Germans.

  7. Sure.

    Why not?

    With the I-Robots having A.I.

The defective, malfunction humanoids out there?

    Functioning like a desk-top?

With GIGO - garbage in and garbage out?

And WYSWYG - what you see is what you get?

    Luke 8.5-8,10-17

What do we expect them to do?

When they were living in misery like a desk-top without being aware of the mess out there.

    Whose ideas was that?

In kciking them all on the butts with self lack of knowledge without being aware of it.

    Leviticus 4.13,22

    What do you think?

  8. Darfur has it much worse than iraq but we are not their because they have no resources of value to america. America use to support saddam and the taliban they helped train them and gave them weapons for Americas benefit for hegemony around the world

  9. Sorry to have to disagree but, well, I really wish they would try to teach people this in school so there would be less time consuming arguements over something everyone should know. You can't talk about foreing oil as if it were some sort of option.

It's a national security issue: No foreign oil = economic disaster. That is harmful. Not if we all held hands and got along, but some people in Iraq and Iran and other places would definately use oil to try to collapse the American economy. They don't have as much as Americans, as in they are not so used to having as much, as in, they could more easily adjust to the destruction of the world's economy (as they barely have any). They would like to see everyone live like them even if it means they also have to take a slight dive in living standards.

It is necessary to be able to buy from outside the country, because if you can't then you simply don't have enough oil and the economy crashes anyway (or never takes off).

The other thing they need to teach is how the world screwed itself by becoming so dependant on oil in the first place. The "eco-friendly" nut jobs out there yelling about car emissions. Car emissions are not the problem with oil. The problem is everyone is employed somehow by oil. You can't just make electric cars without the thinking of the consequences of unemployment. If cars all started using electricity or hydrogen or Iraq pulled the plug, world production would shut down and KY Jelly Corp. Toys R' Us. Insurance, power companies, telephone companies, everyone goes out of business. If there's no more oil (or it's too expensive), no one's driving to work, no one's turning on the lights, no one's eating. (in the first Iraq war, production output was increased in surrounding countries to level out the prices, but by 2001, China and India became net importers of oil as well, as in if Iraq pulls the plug, there is not enough to cover the loss and maintain stability in the markets, ie, global economic chaos).

Designing a hybrid engine or a Hydrogen fuel cell is the least important worry to the world's gov'ts. The worry is the importance to the world economy: Oil companies drill it, Refineries process it, Shipping companies move it, Financial institutions trade it, Manufacturing companies use it, Gas stations sell it, Young girls put it on thier face, young boys use it for masturbation, Nike makes shoes with it, Michellin makes tires with it, we are all too deeply invested in it.

It is a huge problem. A problem that is, i'm sorry to say, much more important than a few people being mis-treated in Iraq. It is about oil, but more than that, it's about the future of the entire world. And was Bush doing something good? Yes, but not the way people normally think. It was to prevent all of us from becoming Iraqis.
