Why does everyone keep talking about experience???

What is this? A freaking video game?!?!?

God d**n, you people keep talking about who has experience and who doesn't. I don't care that Palin or Obama don't have "experience" because it doesn't exist. There is no amount of preparation possibly or needed for that matter to run the Presidential office. It is a "work-training" type deal. It's not like brain surgery. And even if it was... Would you really want an 80 year old brain surgeon who can't keep his hands straight, but insists he can. There's a point in which you can get "over-experienced" (hence the overconfidence of the 80 year old surgeon, mentioned hitherto.)

I don't hate Palin because she has no experience, I hate her because her policies make me sick. Creationism in schools? That's a load of close-minded c**p. Stop trying to brainwash people, and keep your beliefs to yourself.

Anti-Abortion? What difference does it make what someone does to their own UNBORN child. All of your stances have already been paved by your parents and your Conservative preachers, your just driving the car.

I say that last statement as my father is a staunch conservative, and I grew up in a Liberal environment. I chose the latter. Disappointing my father to the point of no longer conversing with me.

So please, on both sides, consider politics, not this experience bullcrap. Because "Experience" for the Presidency, does not exist.

  1. Obviously you were drinking the kool-aid while typing this. And to be honest you are not asking a question at all. When they talk about experience  they are talking about the experience to lead. Obama has not had this experience in his very short career at all. John McCain has been in the military, and being a former Marine myself, I can tell you that that gives you experience to lead, depending on your rank of course. For your statement about abortion even as a fetus the baby has a heart beat! You can argue the fact that women can choose to do whatever they want with their bodies and I totally agree with this statement. However, They are not making this choice for them to raise a child, they are making the choice whether or not the child should get the chance at life. To look at the politics of a candidate, or even a political party, you have to look at the experience. Those with more experience in politics generally have an easier time getting a bill passed of or try to come to a mutual ground. Those with little or no experience start to stumble and fall and their political careers are often short lived because they feel that their ideals, and their ideals alone, are what is best. The presidency of the country is not a game. And for you to say such a statement shows your ignorance and lack of knowledge of the issues at hand. You yourself being ready to run this country is no less than laughable. I seriously doubt you would be able to run a tab. Put down the kool-aid and stop watching CNN aftter eatting the shrooms. If you do this you might see the world in a different light.

  2. A little hostile aren't ya?

I think,  if you want to go down that route, in all candor, she has far, far more experience than Sen. Obama does.

Palin's stint as governor of a "state that produces 20 percent of America's energy" as well as her previous membership in the PTA and her time spent on the city council and in the mayor's office in Wasilla, a town of fewer than 7,000 people outside Anchorage.

By contrast,  Obama was a community organizer when she was in elected office. He was in the state Senate and voted 130 times present. He never took on his party on anything. She took on a party and the old bulls and the old boy network and she succeeded.

    Argue that one.

  3. .....SOUND OF CRICKETS.....

    OBAMA 08

  4. WEll, some type of experience is needed and it appears that Obama doesn't have any. So get off it, don't subject us to your whining!

  5. Both success and failure result in experience, and often the experience resulting from failure is more valuable than that resulting from success.

I agree with you that experience may be overrated.

But accomplishments are very important and can never, or hardly ever, be overrated.

So why don't we stop talking about experience and begin comparing accomplishments?

  6. I am completely with you on the nauseating policies.  The McPlain fans refuse to hear it, though.

On the experience note, I do sometimes feel she doesn't have a real grasp of what life is like in the continental US, or what the politics here are like, because AK is so isolated.

On the policy note-she would send the women's lib movement back 100 years if she had a choice.  Not to mention, shoving creationism and Christianity down our throats.  No thank you!

  7. Lincoln had the same amount of experience as Obama has, and look at Lincoln's presidency....

  8. lol,was this a question or a obama campaign ad? face it your boy got punked bad,no bounce left in that ball!
