  1. It's convenient to blame feminism for whatever ails you since it's not as popular to hate non-whites and g**s right now. It always "in" to despise women it seems. Who cares if women are hated?

  2. Will we ever learn to stop trying to rebel against our Creator by twisting everything to our own personal advantage?

Feminism makes the world the opposite way that God intended in the beginning.

When we do that God sends curses and plagues to punish us, so yes, feminism should be blamed.

  3. Everyone needs an enemy and the rest just block people.

    Ten points please.

  4. I agree with Freedom! Forever!

  5. I know!  It's absolutely ridiculous to blame a group of people who just want equality.  Most of the people who do the blaming just don't want to fess up and admit to their own mistakes.

  6. I can't speak for "everyone", but I think that there are some men who feel disenfranchised by contemporary society.  Traditional masculine roles have been devalued and men feel disempowered.  There has been a failure in providing good positive outlets for men to assert and value their masculinity.  This is a reality.  Some men begin to look for someone to blame for this reality and feminists are a handy target.  It is possible to find, amongst their ranks, true misandry.  So blaming all feminists or even all women is an inaccurate generalization, but with that little bit of truth that allows such a generalization to flourish.

  7. since the dawn of history women have been kept in their place....barefoot and chained to the kitchen sink.......its only the last 100 years since they got the vote.................so tell me why is 100 years more important than the last 10,000 years.........it was a big mistake and we will pay for it in the future............the muslims have the right idea...........keep em covered up and indoors,,,,,,,,,dont educate girls........get em permanently pregnant..................if they step out of line theres always the honour stuff

  8. I hope you're not including me amongst your everyone! cos I'm not all that keen on constantly being tarred with the same brush as them, and, what do you mean by everything?

  9. Is that really so?

    I think not

Most people blame the government for the c**p that happens to them

  10. I do not I repeat do not blame the feminist movement for crappy weather.  God are you some kind of anti femnazi?

  11. no men and women are equal

  12. Fear of change and power my friend...

  13. Yes...it was that awful! Just look at what those misandrists have done to society. They thought they were taking a couple of steps forward but in fact they were taking hundreds of steps backwards!! Go figure!

  14. Most people don't blame feminism for anything you just in the women studies section of YA!. The men who blame feminism are the same as the feminists believing people should act and behave the way they want them to. But feminism has for the most part died out since laws and society changed to a modern technology based society that we live in which works well.

Women and men have equal rights but what feminists complain about is how society is. But men don't shape society people do, and men and women are different and thats why there is differences in the jobs we do and way we act.

The feminist movement fought and won and now we are equal and any discrepancies in job titles or society roles are chosen by the individual. Nothing stops women from being a scientist or CEO its just many women have decided to do something different.

read the book "are men nessary" and she explains how feminsm changed and is no longer popular.

    Intresting fact:

A self proclaimed feminist scientist wanted to prove that men and women are the way they are from socialization, but what she discovered is that when new born babys are shown a picture of a doll or fire truck the boys looked at the fire truck and the girls looked at the doll almost everytime. Even the same with chimps.

A group of men did not come together and decide soceities gender roles, people choose them.

  15. do you know everyone in the world????

    no?

    then shut up!!

  16. Feminism is no longer about being treated equal. It is about being superior to men. Feminists think they are better than men and that men are weak and pathetic. I know this for a fact, I actually had a feminist on this board say that men are pathetic and to get anywhere with females they have to beg, pay or rape women. Not to name names, but it was lotus777one. They nitpick every little thing, you can't say snowman, you have to say snowpeople! There are so many major problems and issues in the world, and feminists want you to think that there is a problem between males and females, when there really isn't, they just hate men.

  17. No, I don't blame feminism for every single thing.. I do however, blame feminism for..

    - Sexist laws and acts that discriminate against men (feminists pushed for those laws and acts)

    - Affirmative Action and quotas that discriminate against men (feminists pushed for this)

    - Bias and sexist studies that put men in bad light (feminists have done this)

    - Many anti-males articles and literature (feminists wrote them)

    - Academic classes teaching hating on men to young and impressionable minds (women's studies)

    - Bias family/divorce court (feminists attack men and fathers who try to speak out against the bias court system)

  18. everyone and everything ...

lol someone has some interesting definitions of those 2 words.

And your another one that says its an equal right - but its for women - movement. Make up your mind.

Btw, feminism wasn't and isn't the only movement for equality - at any point in its history.

  19. i think the reason might be that many women carry around the idea that equal rights means they are entitled to be placed into similar positions as men are, just because they are women (especially at the work place).  Some even go as far as devaluating men, which is really irrelevant in the context of equal rights.

equal opportunity employers have found themselves havimg to hire women who are unfit for their assigned roles.

i work in a male dominated industry myself, and i have not had any problem advancing my career as a result of gender discrimination.

employers normally do not prefer to hire an incompetent man over a woman who can get the job done.

It is my conviction that feminism is obsolete.  how about a neofeminism that values the idea of women fighting from  less privileged positions, and still come out winning?

    **************************************...

dear girls, striving for equality is about taking actions in proving your ability so you will be taken seriously.  sitting around being hostile all day will not get you anywhere. if feminism as the way it is today has not saved women from the things they don't want to do, yet, maybe its time to find a new direction.  stop repeating history and expect different results.

double speak, i hear you.  just the idea of hiring a feminist strikes horror into my heart.  they are like little kids whining to get candies.  they have to nitpick because they can't find larger issues to attack you with (they would've taken you to court otherwise).  i think that is called Feministic Personality Disorder (FPD).  FPD very much resembles the passive-aggressive personality diorder described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, except sufferers are gender specific.  They don't just hate men.  they hate competent and/or beautiful women, too.  "...oooooooo...that is soooooooo unfair!"

I believe in equality, but, not feminism.

  20. Well there have been some side effects of these great things, but I think the pros far out weigh the cons.  The only REAL problem is are the blinders some choose to wear when unable to accept this or the abilities of women as a result of the Women's Movement

  21. A distinction must be made from the "Feminism" of the modern era and the genuine Feminism of 4-5 decades ago which was, indeed, interested in equality.  Equality was achieved a long time ago.  The current "Feminism" only shares the same name, but the ideals are diametrically opposed to the initial aspirations of equality.  Modern Feminism is about Supremacy, hatred of men and those who don't conform to the hatred of men, and so forth.  It's a hateful philosophy and is, to a large extent, responsible for the vast majority of social ills that plague Western society.  Feminism is a disease and it shouldn't be looked upon as anything better.  A Feminist, by definition, is inherently wicked and hateful, so any attempt (by secular means) to damage the Feminist is a step in the right direction.

  22. This question is designed to remove reason and evoke emotion.

No one blames feminism for everything.

Straw-man questions should be a terms of service violation.

Why does everyone hate puppies? :(

  23. To blame feminism for some imagined plot against society and the status quo simply obfuscates the issues...gender inequality still exists, but it is easier to whip up misogyny than to look at the real problems and begin to redistribute power, and material wealth, for example

Feminism has never been about advocating women's superiority or striving for some matriarchal system to overthrow the current system, it has been all about raising awareness of our historic subordination usually based on spurious biologically defunct arguments, or gendered socialised ones and demanding fairness, not removal of men's rights, just a level playing field for us!

The movement gets hijacked by right wing agitators who disguise their sexism vainly by railing agianst some of the perceived radical feminist viewpoints, and holding all feminists accountable! That would be like saying George Bush is the only shining light example of democracy on the planet!!

Cliffy's comments about male alienation and disenfranchisement may be the case, but again failure to respond to needed change cannot be blamed on feminism.  The 2nd wave of western feminism meant great changes and emancipation for women..what does he suggest as the alternative go back to the days where male domination was not questioned..what's the price? Women's subordination is a price worth paying for men's privilege and status?

The other query I have is about misandry...how is this the opposite of misogyny?  Misogyny is the cultural, political, social abjectifiation of women; belittling their existence as mere non men, misandry is what? In what ways do women control society for this to be a powerfully endemic social problem?  Women raise male children...who still grow up with a keen sense of their own importance, so misandry does not seem to be taking the same hold as misogyny, eh?

  24. I do not hate feminism, I hate what it has become in this day and age. I hate that it's dominant and most influential supporters are indeed misandrists(Germaine Greer is a name that comes to mind) and they have influenced our society so greatly that our men are now being subjected to the sexist behavior original feminist so vehemently fought against.

A society is composed of men AND women. If you stigmatize one s*x so greatly you ruin the very fabric of society. Men found this out when women made a stand all those years ago and fought for their rights. Now our men are taking a stand as well to preserve their own rights.

  25. What make it appear awful is a mixture of extreme overbearing feminists/misandrists demanding to be the more powerful gender and anti feminists/misogynists who fear any kind of change in society.

We all need to banish extreme feminism and realise that change is necessary to move forward otherwise we might as well still be living in the dark ages.

  26. They stopped burning witches in the 1700's.  Then they blamed everything on the n**i's or the Communists, but that ended in 1990.  So now it's the feminists.  Why don't we get creative and blame everything on the invisible space aliens making the crop circles.  It makes just as much sense!

  27. Because those misogynists are self-righteous pretentious twits who are oblivious to reality.
