Why does everyone say Guido's are from NJ!?!?

I was just wondering and I know plenty of people from there without jersey accents. haha. Do you think NJ has a bad name? And why do people always say guidos are from there!

  1. I think Jersey does get a bad rap. And if you are talking about Italians? (I thought Guido's was a slur) there are a lot of Italian families and communities here, but it's not like you wake up in the morning and enter an episode of the Soprano's or something...

    NJ has lots of different people, and is probably the most diverse state. With two cities, NYC and Philly , bordering it there was and still is a lot of immigration that spills over into our state.

    Mostly good people.Then you get to DEEP South Jersey/ the Pine Barrens, where you could confuse it with Alabama! "Pineys!"


  2. I dont like jersey...but thats only cuz im from New York

    i like jersey better than i like most other states, like north carolina or ohio....and what is wrong with Jersey accents? they sound better than most other american accents
