Why does everyone stare at me like I'm some kind of freak?

I'm not exactly pretty; in fact, you could say I'm more or less hideous. But that doesn't really earn me stares, usually. However, whenever I'm at the airport, on the underground train, or somewhere else where there's nobody I know, people right out *follow* me with their eyes. If they're walking past, they watch me the whole time until they get behind me. If I'm sitting on the underground train, at least 2/3 of the people will stare at me, too. Here's a picture of me, to maybe find out what it is people are staring at:

My hair is usually straightened, I usually wear contacts, and I usually wear makeup too, so I'll show you another pic of what I'm usually looking like while out in public:

Ok, well if you are carrying the lion from the first picture around with you then that might do it. Other then that maybe it's because you are a h**l of a lot more attractive then you give yourself credit for. Even WITH your glasses on your really cute. It could be that you are overly self-conscious and you are taking anyone looking in your direction as a bad thing.  

Trust me on this, I have gone out with some really pretty women. You are in no way, shape or form hideous. You a quite pretty, if I was your age I would probably ask you out. Are you a supermodel, no, but neither is 99.9999999% of the population. Take off all the makeup and designer clothing and most of them don't look like a supermodel either. So if you feel like people are staring at you, take it as a compliment, and put a smile on your face.

PS: Your forehead might look a little bigger in the picture because of the way your leaning into the mirror to take the picture. I didn't really notice.

just to be honest, youre forehead is larger than normal so maybe get a side fringe or just regular fringe?

dont worry, everyone has their flaws.

that singer rihanna has a big forehead and shes still beautiful.

I can't see a thing wrong with you. I've seen much worse in terms of hideousness. You don't hold a candle in that aspect.

First, don't be so harsh on your self. You are your own worst enemy. The mirror lies horribly bad, to the point it shouldn't be trusted at all. Stop trying to judge yourself in the mirror, because you can never ever see how other percieve you.

Second, i have no clue why people stare at you. I don't think it's anything personal. I think people have a tendency to look around at other people, especially when we are in confined spaces. also people tend to stare at people that their eyes are drawn to. Why are people drawn to you over other people.. not really sure too much. My guess for you is you have that wholesome, good girl look. Maybe the way you carry yourself, or the way you interact with people make people really drawn to you. I think it's a combination of how you carry yourself/interact with others, and the way you look.

I hope this helps, and if it doesn't then in my defnese i'm just an american, and we have different behaviors. So maybe i'm completely off.

people just look at people. They arent really staring at you, they are looking at you as you sometimes look at people :)

I agree with others...If i saw you for the first time, in no way would I stare at you because ur "hideous" or becuz something is wrong with you...I see nothing wrong, ur cute! haha, Wafi ur right again, people just stare cuz that's what many people do...

You are certainly not hideous. The first guy commented on your high forehead. I kinda have one too. Get a side fringe if you want to disguise it but thats no reason to stare at you!
