  2. "Everyone"? How typically atheist!

  3. d**k Cheney already has that job.

  4. Foolish people believe alot of silly things for equally silly reasons. Obama is the best hope for America's future, at this time. Some of the legislation he passed in IL saved a friend of mine's life.

  5. Because they are not blessed with the greatest reasoning skills...

  6. Because the anti christ can take whatever form he desires animal insect whatever here is some proof that Obama has the power to change

  7. They have a problem then.

  8. "Everyone" doesn't think that.  A few alarmist nutcases, that's all.

  9. Pro-Abortion

  10. I don't think he is the anti-Christ because so many think he is. The anti Christ will be someone adored by all and we will not know who this is.

Hey the anti-Christ maybe a woman.

  11. Because he is black and a democrat.. The thought of him being president is enough to give most conservatives a breakdown.

  12. Shallow thinkers have shallow thoughts. This is clearly one for the record books.

  13. Happily, not EVERYONE does...

Some seem to want an anti-christ so their idea of the end of the earth will occur. I'm most worried about the ones that will decide that it needs help and they are on some sort of religious imperitive from their god to help it along.

  14. It's sublimated racism.  No one wants to say "I don't like him because he's black."  Instead you hear, "I just get a bad feeling when I see him," or "He's bad mojo" or "He's in league with the devil."

You're not going to get any solid examples.  The whole point of assigning him the Antichrist role is to condemn him without being specific.

  15. *Everybody* doesn't...

  16. There are some religious nutters who think that. I think the fact that they are religious nutters pretty much says it all.

  17. I think only a complete r****d believes in the Anti-Christ and it would take a transcendental r****d to believe Obama is the Anti-Christ, you know a r****d among retards, the creme de la creme of the Booboisie.

Everyone?  Probably not 1% of the USA's population, even among Christians are this stupid.

  18. I don't think he's the anti-christ, but his associations with Jeremiah Wright make me a little uneasy. Rev. Wright is pretty extreme on racial issues.

  19. That's Right -- like Nigelshiftright said, the antichrist was Nero  ... I took a semester class on the 3rd Prederate View of Revelation (seriously).  I thought it was much more reasonable than the views advocating modern-day fulfillment (of the Apocalypse).

You know, when you get into the Bible to the extent that I did, it's exactly like a drug, and a very strong and addictive one, too.  It takes over your life and your mind to the point where you basically have no open-minded seeking of truth left ... you no longer accept anything if it's not according to "The Word".  It just about destroyed me with questions and confusion for about 10 years, until I got desperate enough to open my mind back up.  It was VERY difficult and costly, but worth it.

  20. They can't attack him on the issues so they just toss mud instead.

  21. Deff:

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

    1 Jn 4:3

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

  22. There are no valid examples.

Too many Christians just listen to the right-wing (nut-job) talk show hosts on radio and TV.

  23. Because these people believe the end of the world is in 2012. There will be something going on in 2012 but I don't know if it's the "end" of the world. Maybe the world as we know it, but who knows for sure.

The Anti-Christ is someone who will make everyone believe he's good, and he will do many great things to make the world follow him. He will also be able to do terrible things to the people who follow. If they force the Mark of the Beast thing on people, you can bet they're him or his helpers.

I don't know who or what he is, but I doubt it would be him. The Anti-Christ is also going to be in power AFTER his "decoy" gets assassinated. So, if he (the Anti-Christ) is supposed to be in power in the US, and Obama is President, he will be the one assassinated and whomever becomes president after him would be the one to worry about.

  24. Shhhhhh

    (whimper)

    cause he is.

    (shudder)

  25. The theory is that the anti christ will rise again as the leader of the most powerful country on Earth, he will be well loved but will die, and then return from the dead and present himself as the second coming of Christ He will then lead the world into slavery and destruction by introducing The New World Order after the destruction events of 21/12/2012 (or 12/21/2012 if you're in America)

  26. Pehaps for his popularity. I don't believe he is the anti christ, but I'm worry about his link with the Islam.

  27. He seems OK to me as he is knowledgeable about Islam & is willing to 'talk'.

    Much better than ignorant aggression.

  28. It's because they haven't ever read Revelation where the identity of the Anti-Christ is very clearly the Emperor Nero. A little education goes a long long way.

  29. Most of the reasoning that people are saying stuff like this has to do with one of the most fascinating elements of the Barack Obama campaign.

The reason being referred to is the way that Barack has gone from being an almost unknown personality to a person of rockstar status in the course of a 6 month or so period of time. Such a rise to fame has been previously unprecedented in American politics and as such has been quite alarming.

Scripture says that when the anti-christ comes he will be liked by all and people will flock to him.

Barack Obama has not been liked by all, but it was in the way that the masses of America tended to flock to him that made some of the conspiracy theorists start yammering their jaws.

There is nothing scripturally that supports the idea that Barack Obama is the anti-christ, in fact, any person who spends time studying scripture and the prophecies illuminated in the Book of Revelation, know that Barack Obama cannot be the anti-christ.

Honestly, all this labeling of him being the anti-christ makes the religious right look ridiculous, and the religious right for the most part does not believe this junk at all, I say for the most part because no matter what, there are going to be those on each side who hold to that belief because it is the way they want to believe.

As far as comments on right-wing talk show hosts, I am an avid listener to such shows, and any references to Obama being the anti-christ have all benn in jest at the ridiculous idea that he might be such, none of the mainstream right-wing talk show personalities believe Barack to be the anti-christ, they just think he is a terrible candidate.

For my own opinion, I do not believe he is the anti-christ because of the prophecies of Scripture, and I as well think Barack to be a bad choice for a presidential candidate.

(Hopefully somewhere in all that your question has been aptly answered)

  30. I dunno about Anti-Christ, but his pathological obsession with Israel and general contempt for the working American don't help his case much!

  31. if anyone was an anti-christ i'd assume it to be the pope.

who better to deceive nations of peoples. who better to deceive christians themselves...
