  1. Because it is a *** hole :)

  2. well my first 'encounter' if you can call it that, with hull was while working in a crappy call centre job. it wasnt based in hull, its just that the call centre had all..all telephone numbers for the uk and ireland .......except for hull.....upon asking why t.f are the company advertising a service that works for everyone except those in hull i was told not to worry, they rarely call annnd.... its a sh1thole anyway.

thats how i learned it was a chithale, and that was backed up by random programmes about property i think saying in polite terms that it was a shutdole, i think there was a thing about britains worst towns and britains hardest pubs and hull featured in both of them as a slitbole. and thats why i think hull is a gritsole.

  3. been a few times once on a stag do all the locals wanted to fight us just because we were Geordie's and other 2 times times were when i was on the wagons sorry to say got to be the 2ND worse place i have ever been (northhampton been the worst) got to agree with the rest of the others its a SHITEHOLE sorry but we all cant be wrong

  4. Because the link leads to Grimsby which stinks of fish.

  5. because of that property guide show on channel 4, what is it property ladder? they do a best n worst cities in britain show every year.

Hulls going thru an absolute shed load of regeneration, has a football team in the premiership, two rugby teams in the super league, the hull team came second in the clipper race this year and hull will be hosting the next! the founder of the football association was born in hull as was william wilberforce a pioneer of the abolition of the slave trade as well as the pilot amy johnson, the bafta and lawrence olivier award winning actress maureen lipman and sir tom courtenay to name a few... hull has one of the best maternity hospitals in the country and one of the top scoring colleges in this years ofsted report.  hull still does have its own telephone company Kingston Communications which the hull fc and hull city stadium is named for. hull is home of the deep the worlds only submarium of ts kind.  hull is the home of P&O ferries the most widely used ferry company in the country. hulls is deepseated in its maritime history.

as mentioned before that the channel 4 show property ladder was the instigator of hulls bad rep but i ask you..where does the shows presenter sarah beeny live?? HULL!!!

hull sure ain't perfect i'll be the first to admit...but i'd like anyone to tell me where is!!

  6. I went to hull once

Got my car broken into; window smashed, glove box broken - the thief got away with a basic radio/cd, 2 floor mats (wtf?) half a dozen copied CD's and about £2 change.

I have lived in East London all my life and would be happier walking through almost any area of london, rather than any place in Hull

  7. I went to Hull many times, when I was on Trawlers, based in Fleetwood, The place smells even the pubs are dump. I went back a few years ago and nothing has changed except the docks.

Hull used to have it's own phone company (outside B.T.) the council sold it and sqandered all the money, John Prescott just about sums up Hull a Fat slob who can not put two words together unless drunk.

  8. Having been to hull, i can see why it gets a bad press. It orrible. Though not as horrible as Widnes!
