Why does everyone think im a gothic weirdo?

everyone in my school thinks im a weird and a goth i dont know why im not mean not ugly actually prettier then everyone in my class (not bragging) and im not dumb or really smart.

i have goth boots and wear them SOMETIMES and sometimes wear black or blood red nailpolish and everyone stares at me why?

ummm... its probably because you got weird nail polish and that goth shoes that people don't really like, you see, different school students have different styles, so maybe you should change your style to one of their ones(but unique in a special way)

By the way, goth's aren't ugly or dumb. I know you didn't directly say that but you implied it. You sound a bit full of yourself. If you don't want to be called goth, then stop dressing like one. You kids just need to grow up these days! Also, just so you know...goth's wear color and not just black. They wear all kinds of colors, even bright ones.

It's because you're different, and they're either jealous of you, annoyed by you, or envious.

People do it to me all the time, and I wear contemporary (graphic/band tees, skinny jeans, and Nike's), and I am continuously called emo or skater. Quite the annoyance.

Its just some people. I wear alot black and i get called emo/goth and im nothing like it! im a total girl like all bubbly and happy and stuff im absolulty nothing like the stereotype.

try wearing bright colors and expressing your self and talk and be happy around people and it can be because who ur hanging out with
