Why does everyone think people with riced out cars race them?

So i have a lancer with a body kit and underglow, but i never race people and i never try to tell anyone my car is fast. I just think it looks cool.

Why does everyone always assume ricers are retards that only want to race everyone

Because 99% of them do and then why make it look like a race car if it is not, that is silly. Then there is the sound I would be embarassed to ride in anything that sounded like that. I do not  have anything against tricking out a car been doing it all my life but those cars are stupid. The only thing worse is putting those real tall wheels on a car.
