  1. Actually, everyone in Britain practically worships him and are really pulling for a win at Wimbledon. The rest of the world however doesn't like him that much because of his attitude on and off the court, he isn't any McEnroe but he defiantly is not an angel

  2. They don't, we all want him to do well. And by all accounts he's nothing like he is on court in real life, everyone (Henman, Andy Castle, McEnroe, and John Lloyd among others) have said what a nice guy he is off court.

I think one of the main problems is his perceived image, people see him as being petulant and acting up on the court when he's frustrated. But actually he doesn't do it that often and never against any of the top players like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. He only ever does it against people he thinks he should easily beat.

But again, his manner on the court is improving and he seems a lot calmer and because of this his tennis is getting better. I actually think people have short term memory loss over this issue of players shouting at themselves or throwing their racquet's, Federer was exactly the same at Murray's age, Djocovic still does it occasionally, Hass is over 30 and he does it and don't get me started on some of the Russian players lol.

I think if anyone hates him it's because of that joke he made a few years ago about supporting Portugal in the World Cup when they played England. Which is ridiculous really considering he meant no harm by it and it was only a joke! People forget that it was a joke intended to annoy Henman and nothing more. And If they hate him because of some preconceived notion that he was being unpatriotic or that he hates the English then they should grow up.

Murray expresses himself, big deal! I think people are naive if they think he's going to be another mild-mannered, thoroughly good old chap like Henman. And who would want it that way, it would just be dull and boring!

  3. he's got attitude problem

  4. really? they do?

i honestly don't know about that... but if that is true, maybe because of his attitude--and i only judge this from his behaviour on the court, which from i saw, it's quite improving..

i mean, he was actually smiling when he hit an error during his match against Tommy Haas!!

off the court? i have no idea...
