I genuinely believe the mighty AB's are very weary of the Wallabies, they know the Aussie Spirit will lift them within the tough games, I know for certain the AB's were worried about meeting the Wallabies in the RWC elimination Semi, and thought they would probably lose, being the chockers they are!

Face it some times the Wallabies surpise even the AB's & Springboks (although Saturdays game was a disgrace, the Final will be different). Also the Wallabies have won & played in twice the RWC Finals as either other Southern Team!

  1. all blacks have been to the finals twice and won once.

sth africa have been to the final twice and won once.

Australia has been to the final 3 times and won twice.

AB's just dont get into the right pool in the RWC's. the team that gets into the hardest pool almost always wins the RWC ( this team is normally out of Aussie, NZ, Boks and england.

The last world cup australia and nz had easy games so weren't match hardened when quarter finals came.( in that case..both AB's and wallabies choked!!)

Since professional rugby came..australia has been quickest to adapt..as they already had proffesion AFL and rugby league.

wallabies went through a stage of whinging after every match....that is why most dont like the wallabies.

  2. Hate the Wallabies? Hate? Is there any other word worse than hate? Wallabies are arrogant, mindless morons... Who do they think they are? Why don't they stick to AFL, swimming and cricket and... I'll be moving there to work soon so move over Morty, hehe!

  3. Of course the All Blacks are wary of the Wannabies - they are a good team - most of the time. On the other hand all Mozzies have more mouth than a fat man's a r s e - that's why they give me the shites. Listen to their commentators - what 1 eyed gits!.

As for supporting them over the Springboks - the only time I would ever do that is if we actually needed them to win in order to secure us a series win in the Tri Nations. I would never support them over the Springboks even though as a young fella growing up in the 50's and 60's the Springboks were the hated and feared foe.

It's a toss up for me whether to support the Mozzies or the Poms - they're both full of c**p. it would depend on the day.

  4. It's all statistics mate, and the winner will be the team who decides to show up on the day and pack a punch.  You can do all the calculations you want, but it still ain't going to change the fact that  the Wallabies are going to beat the All Blacks because they got smashed the week before.  As far as suprises go, that loss to South Africa was a h**l of a biggie!

  5. I love to hate the All Blacks because everyone just says All Blacks when someone asks what team they like with no reference to any other team. France is my personal favorite because I like their flare to the game.

  6. The AB's are always wary of the Wallabies...its just healthy rivalry...I cheer for Aussie when we aren't playing them....

Don't worry about the Wallabies and AB's...check out that spelling...it's choke!

  7. Because they have a rub it in your face attitude after every game they win

  8. erm, rodders

the boks have won the world cup twice

  9. It's because of George Gregan at the RWC 2003 semi-final against New Zealand. Close to the end of the match he started bragging and getting all mouthy  to Byron Kelleher after he got tackled. That's why people call them arrogant I think. Also, it's because of that stunt they did to disrespect the haka. The bas*tards had it edited to show the players wearing handbags and then they even though it was shown only in Australia, now the whole rugby world knows about it.

  10. its just trans tasman rivallry, none of this pc bulls@#t!

Nd i Support the All Blacks or anyone playng aussie or england!  Its hard to choose wen aus play england!!

  11. Its not true to say "everyone hates the Roballies"...although the media tend to react both postitvely to a win and vice versa to a loss.

Sopme players I dislike because of on field discretions and bad sportsmanship. As people of filed they may be nice people.

As long as NZ wins I am happy for the Ockers to come a distant 6 point second place.

Either way, sets up a great came in Brisvegas

I DISLIKE the boorish boors, dirty shots and arrogance personified.

  12. I'm an unabashed Wallabies supporter. Always been there during the early times in the 70's when the Wallabies were everyone's whipping boy. So it's great to see the performing well again. Last Saturday was hopefully only a small speed bump.

On the other hand it really was a nothing match for us. We had already won the Mandela Plate, already in the decider for the Tri Nations so in some ways it was a dead rubber.

Edit: Rodders, the Boks have been to two finals and won both.

  13. I'm with zolteg14 . As a kiwi we hate losing any rugby game but I REALLY hate losing to the poms.

The AB's have a healthy respect for the Wallabies that will always make them weary when they play them. AB's for the Tri-Nations though!

  14. Frankly I couldn't give a rats ****, because I follow League. Maybe the Wallabies are so unpopular among the Boks and Kiwis because despite Rugby being only the fourth most popular variety of football in Aust after Aussie Rules, League and Soccer we still regularly beat them. Imagine if we Aussies were as fanatical about our Rugby as the Kiwi's and the Boks are, chances are the poor b******s would never win a game against us. Then they would really have something to whinge about.

  15. The Wallabies? I don't hate the wanallabies...they usually put up a great fight...usually...go The wanabies!

  16. What is your real question, I mean everything you have assumed is based purely on how you feel as a wallaby supporter and nothing to do with a rugby game.

Lets stay with the current.   The wallabies played the weekend in South Africa "yes"  and the springbok thoroughly outran the wallaby (so to speak) "yes".

Before that game didn't the wallaby + a dingo (I wonder what country hes from ) get pipped at the post again and I wonder who from..ummmm..  Geez its only a game that should be cheered for and play hard and fair, not sarcastic personal comments such as yours.

  17. I'm a New Zealander and I don't like the wallabies. I'll still support them over the Springboks.

Not everyone hates the Wallabies. I think the Springboks are hated more because they just love cheating.

  18. Because they are arragant.  And the ABs are not chookers.  Aust choked on the weekend.  What a lost.  Shaaaame.  Hang your in head in shaaaame

  19. I tend to agree with most of the sentiment here.  As a Bok supporter, I will support NZ over Oz unless its in SA's best interest for NZ to lose, as the Aussies are often arrogant in winning (or at least appear so).  However, regardless of which Southern Hemisphere team is playing a Northern Hemisphere I support the Southern side as we play a much more attractive style of rugby.  I always support the team playing against England.

  20. People love to hate the wallabies because once they beat the Springboks or the All Blacks, the second time they play them, the Wallabies simply get flogged.

  21. I wouldn't say everyone hates the Wallibies, being fom New Zealand I obviously hate losing to the Wallibies but I support them against any other team and so do most Kiwis. Everyone hates England,  I can't handle us losing to the Poms, luckily it hardly ever happens :)

Also Australia have not played and won in twice as many RWC finals, South Africa and Australia have both won twice, and Aussie has only been in one more final than both NZ & SA who have been in two each

  22. Its not hate its rivalry and that makes a good game to watch and being a canterbury man i do find my loyalties divided a bit i dont support the wallabies over the abs but i sure as h**l support Robbie Deans over that over rated coach Graham Henry
