If you mean Fox, it's because they're trying to be fair and balance out the networks that worship Obama (the rest of them).

No one hates Obama.  We just dislike him for his lack of experience. Fox shows both the positive and negative spins for both parties.

Actually they were rather respectful to the DNC's first night, surprisingly.

First of alll, let me say that I am a lifelong Democrat, and proudly one.  However, I have vowed to watch the Faux News coverage of the DNC, simply to find out how they would spin it.  My opinions (and yes, they are just my opinions) follow:

1) Brit Hume is basically a mouthpiece for the RNC, and boring to boot.  While I will commend him giving respect to the speakers, the tone in his voice communicated nothing but spite.

2) d**n there are a lot of commercials on Faux!  But then, consider who owns it...

3) Why don't the reporters on the floor have network IDs on their mics?  Are they afraid of being attacked there?

4) Faux did show Ted Kennedy all due respect, a fact which I do actually admire - he is a fine American.

5) The speakers were covered less o Faux, although the films shown were covered more

6) Carl Cameron is obviously Faux's attack dog.

7) Chris Wallace had some good points, believe it or not.

8) Karl Rove sounded actually human - although still like a cold-hearted strategist - Faux must have caught him on a good night.

9) Their panelists:

Juan Williams - articulate and informed.

Nina Easton - stutters a lot, ot sure of what she wants to say.

Bill Kristol - seems to me like a total waste of a Harvard education -    never on point.

Fred Barnes - intelligent and made some good points.

In general, the first night of Faux news coverage surprised me with their respect for the speakers and relatively sane views.  However, we shall see what the next 3 days bring.

Best line of the night: "Fight for the world as it should be"...h**l, even Faux respected that...

Unless you are watching the commentators instead of the actual news reports, Fox News is living up to their motto of "fair & balanced."

It is when you get into the opinion shows that the bias appears.

It is full of moderates & conservatives.  The only liberal (& just moderatly so) is Colmes & he is 2nd billing to Hannity.

But even on the commentary shows, they are far more balanced than Olbermann.  O'Reilly at least interviews liberals on his show.  I saw him interviewing a transvestite the other week & he was very respectful.  Could you imagine what Olbermann would be like in an interview with James Dobson?

Why do you hate FOX news? You know Murdoch has donated to the Obama cause, right? Or are you just the typical leftists spurting the nonsense of what others have said?

Anyway, the talk show hosts(not the News, anyone who cannot see the difference is an idiot) dislike Obama for the same reasons you dislike them, except for one difference: They are right.

If you mean fox, they analyze the truth and put it out there.They don't hate him personally, they just know he has done nothing for his home state, and I live there so I know too that he is not working for Illinois. Now he can "not" work for the nation.

They're owned by Rupert Murdoch, who doesn't even live in this country.

Fox broadcasting represents his views, as does the Wall Street Journal; the publication that calls the poor, "Lucky Duckies."
