  1. It doesn't, as two objects approach each other they "fall" deeper into each others gravitational fields and they gravitationally attract each other more strongly, not less.

  2. It actually never decreases.

according to Newton force of attraction is inversely proportional to distance between the bodies. Hence force increases!!!

The only reason we do not get dug up in ground is because the ground gives a reaction to the force we apply on it pushing our feet up. This is in accordance to Newton's Third law: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

The reason we fall down when dropped from an aircraft and don't stay in air is because the air cannot produce enough reaction to keep us in air.

  3. Do you mean, if the moon is attracted to the earth, for example,  and the moon comes nearer the earth the moon-earth attraction decreases –OR– if the moon is attracted to to earth and a third body comes near the earth, the moon is attracted less to the earth, though the earth-moon distance is unchanged?  I don't think either is true. What makes you think it's true?

  4. you got a Einstein in you . do not bother . develop on it and become infamous !!

  5. the gravitational force is inversely propotional to the square of distance between the center of objects so when two bodies come close to each other they attract each other with graeter force.

  6. who told u ....it doesnt decrease at all

  7. f=G *m*M/ r^2

we see tht f is inversily proptional to square of distance betw the object............hence with decrease of distance.........force increases..............

nt the intreating thing is tht the accleration is always constant i.e........g=9.8 m/s^2
