  1. Keep the flavor. There are some healthier frozen foods that I buy like Amy's brands of frozen meals that are less sodium but you pay extra.

It is not frozen food.  It is PROCESSED frozen food, just like processed food in cans or boxes or pouches, that has a lot of sodium.  Frozen uncooked vegetables have little or no added sodium.  Once you get into meats and sauces and other things, salt is the cheapest way to add flavor and help foods last longer.
