Why does golf take like 3hours?

Because people prefer to take their times, and enjoy being outside.  It's a great walk.

How many holes do you play?  Or play at a really busy municipal course in an urban area and tee off at 11 AM on Saturday.  I could take you 6 hours.

Just miss the hole more frequently... take your time. I don't see the point of golf :\ Crazy golf is loads better! :)

you want to play for longer just do more rounds or take a long time over each shot like 4 pratice swings lol

Play in a foursome and you will play four hours easily.

Mess around on the back holes, do them twice if you'd like.  My firends and I mess with the killer swans and went fishin' for golf balls in the pond. Loads of FUN and took up time.

Your playing fast, every game I've ever played took at least 4 hours for 18 holes.  Today it took me and my dad 2 1/2 hours for 9 holes.

Where can you play golf in 3 hours?   One of the reasons for the decline in golf and its seen on the PGA tour is rounds last 4 and sometimes 5 hours.  Hit the ball and wait, hit it again and wait.

Consider yourself lucky to play in 3 hours or play another round.
