Why does happy hour at Sonic last 2 hours?

I wondered that myself, but I have a static cling coupon on my windshield that gives me Route 44 Drinks or Slushes for $0.99 anytime, so not really worried about it

because 2-4 pm is really only beneficial to students. most people have taken lunch by 2 and get off at 5. students get out at 3, which makes it very convenient. they don't want to make it a great deal for everyone... that would be too convenient lol!

And, I think they put more ice at happy hour

Honestly I think it's because they're cheap and wouldn't want happy hour TOO long because then everyone will be out of school or work to go there and they don't wanna lose out on that much money!lol
