Can a boy really get over a girl hes been with for a year?

He breaks up with her she always goes back to him and he takes her back. He said he always feels sorry for her cause she crys and stuff.

They been on and off for a year, he says they argue alot. Everytime we talk he says that got into an arguement. Why stay in a relationship if they fight alot? He says the ONLY reason why hes with her is because he can trust her. And hes the only girl she can trust and hes been through alot thats why he has trouble with trusting girls.

Their always together...She is real cool with his cousin and she hates me. They take ALOT of pics together when i see it, it hurts. They OBVIOUSLY have ALOT of memory togehter. I just wish i was their first. Ive never liked a boy as much as i like him. Were talking and just his girl, knowing he has one really hurts me.

IF they were to break up, would he get over her?

If it didnt work the first few times, why keep trying?

I have a relationship like this. I have a boyfriend and one of my friends like him and he hates her so much. But in this case he cares for you as a friend. Maybe you should sit down relax and see what happens and if they don't work out which most likely they won't if they are always fighting. But if you say they have a lot of memory's together that is going to be hard for him if they leave each other for ever. I think that maybe you should look for other guys because there is no point in waiting. This might take a while and it would suck for you to have to watch the guy you like with another girl.. So find someone else that you like so it will take the pain away. And remember be happy :)
