Why does his nose keep on bleeding?

ok so my brother nose keeps on bleeding. once and a while he gets nose bleeds but lately hes been getting almost every morning for about a week. any suggesitons on why this is happening? and anything he can do other than holding a kleenex to his nose?

he might be sick or somthing. has he been banging into stuff latley?he should go see a docter about that

in summers a person can get nose bleeds (if he spends excess time in sun)

in hindi we say it "naksir footna"

he should stop eating eggs,chiken,,junk food etc

also he should not be in sun for long hours

he should eat cold items amla,coldrinks,rice

whenever he gets nose bleeds he should get his head wet with cold water and look at the seiling fan  so that the flow of the blood get reversed

My son does this. His doctor told me to rub vaseline in his nose morning and night. This keeps his nose from drying out which is usually the cause of his nose bleeds. He hasn't had one in months so it must work. Good Luck and if not stopped in a few weeks after trying this I would see the doctor.

Obviously bleeding is caused from a broken blood vessel, regardless of how the blood vessel was damaged (picking, dryness etc) it is close to the surface and will easily be broken again. An ENT doctor will be able to cauterize the vessel chemically.
