Well my daughter is 13 but very tiny and we have a awful time finding things to fit her! Even thou she can wear kids the styles are to kiddie for her age! I for one am glad there is still stores like Holister and Abercrombie that carries small sizes! If you look around we live in a world where most 13 year olds look like they are 20! My daughter is one of the rare teens that is skinny and believe me she gets just as mad going into most stores and nothing fitting her because the xs are still way to big! I for one hope they keep the sizes small what is it hurting to have 2 stores out of a million that cater to the smaller teens!

Hollister clothing is very popular among young people. It is not suitable for those who are fat and have extra weight. Hollister clothing is more aimed at slim youth, so if you have extra weight on you, you should try elsewhere. Hollister chain only stocks sizes 0 to 9, though they do carry small, medium, large, and extra large.

As a 15 year old girl who's bought clothes from pretty much every teen store in the last 5 years:
aeropostale is the store to go to for preteens and younger teens that are in between little girl sizes and juniors. Their clothes are TINY if you get the little sizes (they've gotten smaller over the last few years) but they still have some bigger clothes too for people that are a little larger. Some shirts go up to xxl. (if I still wanted to shop there, I would probably be a medium)
Hollister and abercrombie are good for people around the ages of 13-17. They run sort of small for teen sizes, and they don't have too many large sizes, so they're not that great for overweight or bigger people. Also, I find a lot of their shirts run really small on the boob area... that may just be me though. But if you're thin and flat chested, these would be great stores for you (I'm a small at those stores)
American Eagle can probably cater to the most ages and sizes. It's mostly for older teens (and even people in their 20's and beyond can find age appropriate casual clothes), but I started shopping there when I was 12, and I could still find stuff. They offer a lot of sizes (xxs-xxl on most items if you go online), but they also run really big on some stuff. (I'm usually an xs and 00 or 0 in jeans, but I've been a xxs a lot of times too)
I hope that clears stuff up for anyone confused on why hollister doesn't fit them, and what store they should shop at. Sorry it was so long!
Hollisters not that great.... argueing over store and calling plus sized girls fat & ugly and smaller/petite girls little and or whateverr... It doesn't make any sense... build a bridge and cross it..
okay, listen hear fuckfaces, its not about being fat, or being too tall, all of you little c***s saying "change yourself if you want to fit into their clothes" why the f**k should we change ourselves , its not my fault i like hollister abercrombie and all of those places and everytime i f*****g walk in an extra large is like a medium in target. so what? over weight people are supposed to shop at other low price stores? like way to discriminate.. maybe you should make bigger f*****g clothes
im doing a project on this lol yhu guys mke me giggle bt i do think its kinda wrng i wear a size 9 pants and a small shirt
Ok first of all I love Hollister it is my fav store and it's true there sizes run small I mean I'm not big i'm only 120 pounds and wear a size 3 and medium in shirts also I don't think you need a flat butt I don't have one and flat chest because, i don't have one either and I fit in them.
U GUYS ARE STUPID HOLLISTER IS FOR SKINNY PPL ONLY! FAT PPL GTFO n***a
PEOPLE ARE f*****g RUDE SORRY IM NOT A f*****g SIZE 00000000000 SORRY FOR BEING f*****g FAT. LIKE d**n PEOPLE STFU.
Well, for one thing it depends on what your built like. For instance my friend is about 40 pounds smaller than me and he wears a medium. I'm about just over 200, 5'4, and I wear an X-tra large with no problem. I have a little chubbiness on me, I'm not going to lie. Sometimes you just have to go for the biggest size and when you try the shirts on, make sure that you're wearing some smaller jeans/skirt. That always helps. Plus, you have to adjust them to fit you when you're wearing them.
I think it's horrible. For all the people saying "your too big for this store get over it", I think is extremely selfish and rude. I am a college swimmer, I wear an XL hoodie because of my shoulders and arms, which are very built. XL is not a big size at all. What if you have a bigger chest? That makes you go up a size as well. Its horrible.
its for teens people! They do have extra larges? and if you cant fit them your too old or your short for your size or your just big. people who are overweight shouldnt expect everyone to say they are "built bigger" or "tall". you are what you are and if your not happy with what it is then change it or deal with it.
I love their clothes, but I wear an xxl in Abercrombie & Fitch. I was thinking that they should just make an xxl for Hollister, too.
