  1. It is fun because you're at home no need to rush to catch the bus and you don't have to get all preppy and dressed up you can just wear your house clothes. It might suck because you might like all that stuff and all the homework and the opportunity to meet new people so it might suck for you but  some people have a different point of view.

  2. i dont love it but i dont like public school eather if it were up to me i would never go to school

  3. How much you enjoy homeschooling will depend on your personality and how your homeschooling is done. If you've had public school experience, it may be particularly difficult for you to make changes like this.

Look at the reasons why you hate homeschooling and what you can do about them. Or even better, think about what would make homeschooling great and do that. You have a choice, no matter where you are, about how to look at the situation you are in. There have been POWs who came out of their imprisonment and did very well compared to some others. Why? They made the most of their situation by reciting poetry, teaching each other things through a type of Morse code, essentially taking charge of what they could and living as much as they could. You have a choice.

  4. Home schooling is not for everyone, and is especially difficult for those who have been in a school system that leaves little, or no choice, nor places much responsibility for getting an education back on the student.

To home school at the high school level you have to be confident in your abilities, organized, a self starter, and be self motivated to set, and accomplish your goals.

Home schooling in not an easy way out of acquiring an education, but rather a better way to get prepared for real life, since in real life all these skills that are also required of being a success full upper level home schooler are being practiced daily.

You may just not be ready to do all this, but that does not mean you "cannot".

Simply put, put in your best effort, and change your attitude accordingly; remember it is your education, you need to make it happen.

  5. Look at the bright side, now you may be able to spell "public school" correctly!

All kidding aside, you will end up with more free time if you get your studies earlier.  Get involved in community clubs, sports, volunteering and so on. My kids are very busy and have a ton of friends. Being Home schooled does not mean being isolated.

    Good Luck!

  6. We are all different.  You probably enjoy the social aspect of public school, learning with other people and interacting with other people, so homeschooling might not be your preference.  Some people prefer to not be part of a large group and to learn more independently.  Neither is necessarily better or worse than the other, just different.

  7. Why exactly do you hate it?

The great thing about homeschooling is that you can mold your day and your education in many many ways to fit your needs and your learning style - with guidance of course.

Not enough social time?  Get out and do stuff!  Are you part of a homeschool group? Get involved!

Is the work too hard?  Change your approach and try to make it more fun!

Are you having a hard time disciplining yourself to do the work that you know you need to do?

Homeschool, public school, private school, whatever - you will get out of something equal to what you put in to it.

  8. some people like school and do well at it

homeschool is for people who don't do well at it or do better on their own

there are all sorts of different approaches from boarding school, prep school, private school, charter school, magnet school as well as home school and unschool

    all have their places

    different stokes for different folks

  9. What's Puclic skool?  You must have learned that spelling in Public School, because most homeschoolers do better than that.

  10. It may be the way your are homeschooling.  I'm sure that I would abhor being homeschooled in some ways, but being unschooled sounds divine.

Maybe you should try a different approach, and you would like it better.  And public school is always there... if you really prefer that.

  11. Are you really serious with your spelling ? You may have missed typing public to puclic because C is near to B on the keyboard but I don't think there is k in the word school...joke!!!

You sound so mad take a break, don't blame the system, it's the way you do it.
