Why does iced espresso get me way more wired than hot espresso?

Becuase when you drink hot espresso, you usually drink a larger amount at a faster pace.

When you drink hot espresso, it usually takes you longer because it is hot, and you'll be satisfied usually by an 8 ounce drink.

If your like me and you love coffee, a 12 ounce, or even 16 ounce iced espresso won't even fufill your craving.

Possibly because you drink it faster.

Troy, you're not alone.  Most people think it's spelled with an X.

It could be because iced espresso is stronger due to the ice in the cup taking up a lot of room.  That means it is less diluted then the hot drink in that same size.  

Do a little test and order your drink iced but with light ice in the cup and see how it affects you.
