Me and my fiance live in Tennessee and are in need of assistance. I am worried that if we apply for food stamps it will effect future job opportunities credit, taxes or other things? Thanks for your time

  1. They are eligible to certain tax breaks for hiring people that get food stamps, etc.

  2. they ask this because it would be in their best interest to hire you. they might even get something back from the county. it will not affect credit, taxes or anything else. when you get a job it might reduce the amount of the food stamps. i too recieve them. good luck
