Question:

Why does it fizz when I add soy milk to my coffee?

Just as I'm adding soy milk to my coffee in the morning it fizzes like carbonation along with the sound. As soon as the stream of soy milk stops it also stops fizzing. What is it about the combination of soy milk and coffee that creates it? Any coffee joint workers?

  1. That is strange. I make a lot of soy coffee at work, and have never seen that happen. If you are using the same brand all the time, maybe it's something they add to it.

  2. I have been a barista for 10 years and I have added soy to coffee countless time, and I have never heard of that.

I always use either pacific soy or silk soy. Sorry, I wish I had an answer for you.

    Good luck
