Why does it hurt after the day i work out on dumbbells??

I worked out my biceps using dumbbells. Its my first using dumbbells or doing any other sort of excersise. After work out my arm was not hurting much but the next day in the morning, i had a really bad pain near elbow.

Does this happen to everyone who does it first time?

  1. Maybe it's because this is your first time, after a few more times, your muscles should get use to the resistance. If you really wanna become sore, try overload lifting with high weights but low reps


  2. Because you're working your muscles. Try some advil liqui-gels. theyre GREAT for pain. Instant relief. hope this helps.

  3. it's caused by a build up of lactic acid that accumulates in the joints after any stressful activity.

    drinking plenty of water will help flush it out.

    beginner or not it happens to everyone.
