Why does it hurt when I lie down on my back?

Over the past few months, it hurts when i lie down on my back and I get a really sharp pain down my spine. It keeps coming and going away but I don't know what caused it. Does anyone know what it might be and should I see a doctor?

your spine is not right or it could be because you have brusies or sunburn i suggest go seeing a doctor
