  1. Its to do with the Gulf stream carrying warm sea water from the gulf of Mexico across the atlantic, this warmer area of water causes rain clouds....

    I think the mountains have something to do with it, Somethng about the fronts colliding.

    Oh, and the pattern of the wind streams.

  6. Ireland is for many clouds coming from the west the first piece of land, after those clouds have been fully soaked on their journey across the atlantic ocean.

  7. Something to do with the warm weather from the Gulf caught in the North Atlantic Drift mixing with the Southernly trade winds creating anti-cyclones or 'low pressure' areas, and then i just rains.

    That or we're very unlucky
