  1. Because it is PURELY from concentrate, Praise Thee Maker!!!

  2. they squeeze the oranges abroad, evaporate some of the water for transportation as it reduces the volume of the container needed. they add the same amount of water back at the other end, it's also been pasteurized.

freshly squeezed is the term to look for, although even that has usually been pasteurized

  3. Don't buy the stuff from concentrate if you want pure and fresh.  Simply Orange is sold everywhere.  It's delicious, fresh, and not from concentrate.

  4. If it didn't contain any additives it would look pretty horible and have poor clarity, also anti-foaming agents are present to stop it from foaming everywhere.  The word "Pure" on food labels has no legal definition.

  5. It's still pure orange juice. From concentrate just means that somewhere along the way they took some of the water out of it. If it's ready to drink and says from concentrate then they put the water back in when they packaged it. The do this for shipping, it's cheaper to ship one truck of concentrate instead of ten trucks of regular juice.

  6. My mum explained this too me, but i forget what she said, but basically you can buy orange juice that is not from concentrate as with all your other juices, apple etc

  7. I guess the companies that produce this have a different definition of what, by law, they can call pure. I guess if it's simply be squeezed, then concentrated & reconstituted it technically is pure as nothing has been added to it. Fresh squeezed is something different.

  8. It is possible to concentrate pure orange juice.  It is simply frozen.  No big whoop.

  9. The Oranges are picked and juiced in their country of origin. The heaviest and bulkiest part of the juice is water which is removed leaving the concentrate so it is cheaper to ship. When it gets to its destination the same amount of water is added making it back to how it was.

  10. I take the time to make my own orange juice, then I know it is just pure orange juice.Try it if you have time.

  11. Any fruit juice in concentrate form has significantly more calories than pure "pure juice" and should be avoided even as a so called ,natural sweetener. Why do they do it? typical deceitful food industry procedure.
