When the football is already pumped and only weighing 2lbs?

  1. "Lbs" can also refer to a measurement of the air pressure inside the ball.  It doesn't really have anything to do with how much the ball weighs.  It's telling you to inflate the ball to 11-13 pounds per square inch of pressure.


  2. It refers to pressure not weight, (psi) lbs per square inch

  3. Not weight, rather pressure.

    A lot of people ask this so don't feel bad. It's a common misunderstanding.
