If straight people can get married why cant g*y?It makes no sense to tell two people man&man or girl&girl they cannot get married. Also why do men think its right for girls&girls to be together but not boy&boy?

  1. I'm against g*y marriage.

Oh, hang on, no wait. I am g*y and I am married.   Bugger.

  2. Discrimination, pure and simple.

The people who want us not to have that right feel that we are "bastardizing" their sacred rituals, their announcements of undying love (which we all know is pure c**p, since more than half of heterosexual marriages end in divorce), their ability to file tax breaks and other benefits from the government for being "married", not to mention that they have been taught since birth that we are "evil" and an "abomination"...it's too much for their limited mental capabilities to comprehend the possibility of having two men/women proclaim their love for each other.

All my life, I have seen nothing but the heterosexual agenda pushed in my face: little children start out their lives listening to fairy tales of princes and princesses finding "true love" and "living happily ever after", then that ritualized boy-girl coupling known as "the prom", then college events full of fraternities and sororities having "soirees", pressure from parents asking "Who's that special girl/guy?" (if you're a guy/girl, respectively), entire magazine racks filled with bridal gowns (all catering to heterosexual weddings), an entire industry spawned by this heterosexual ritual (wedding rings, wedding planners, wedding cakes, wedding flowers, wedding transportation, wedding venues, etc.), and even special events like the bachelor and bachelorette parties, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners before the actual wedding, entire newspaper sections devoted to announcing which heterosexual couple is getting married, wedding registries for the couple's gifts...I could go on and on, but I think this should be enough to debunk the silly notion that homosexuals have some "agenda" in "pushing marriage in our faces".

Saying that is just plain lazy and stupid, when we are bombarded from birth to find someone of the opposite s*x to marry, lest we be considered a "failure". Having g*y marriage would upturn and revoke everything that we have been taught, and this twists the conservatives' boxers in knots, no doubt.

And I agree with you, it's no one's place to tell me whom I can and cannot love. Period.

(As for that scenario of two girls making out being okay but not two guys, several of my straight male friends say it's their ultimate fantasy, because they fantasize watching the two girls go at it, then they join in, having two women "service" him - THAT'S the fantasy for them.)

  3. They're against it because they don't understand it.

They'll say it's unnatural, just like plastic, pesticides, and condoms. I wonder if they use any of those?

They'll say it can't produce children, but what about infertile or child-free couples?

Every argument has holes. Personally, I'd rather this country wasn't led on "feelings", but on facts. If we could all make laws based on feelings, no one would be able to do anything, because it would be against someone else's feelings.

Eventually, the more intelligent, logical ones, will be in the majority.. or so I hope.

  4. Because the big men with little peckers in office are threatened by their own sexuality.

And men are not threatened by girl on girl action. They believe that women just bide their time waiting for the man thats going to show them what they have been missing. Whereas guy on guy action makes them realize that they want something in their butt, but dont know how to get it without being g*y.

Isnt that how "being on the DL" all started?

  5. People aren't comfortable with it because it seems un-natural. Because the reason for intercourse it to produce children...which g*y couple can't do. So there-in lies the going against nature argument.

However, I personally feel that people should be free to do as they please. I am all for g*y marriage but I have to say I am sick and tired of having it thrust in my face - you don't see hetero couples going on the news to announce their big day.

If g*y couples want to be treated as equal (by this I mean law and marriage not as human beings...the latter is a given truth)...then they should shut up - get married - live happily ever after - and not do the whole g*y pride c**p.

If a hetero bunch of people got together to march about loving the opposite s*x - that parade would be shut down in no time!
