I have a 2 year paralegal degree and cant make use of it. Is the 4 year degree a new "standard"?

  1. Like everything else, the bar has been raised.  A 4 year degree used to be enough to get any teaching job, now most schools want Master's.  More people have higher education than say 20 years ago, so I guess they look at it like, "Why hire someone with a 2 year degree, when I have 15 people with a 4 year degree applying for the same job".  I know, I have the same problems.  :(
