I just came from a trip in which I went to the southern part of the united states. I've lived in CA all my life, but have also visited the east coast and midwest. It was, however, my first time to the south. It seemed like people were bigger down there and that it was just the norm. Are people really bigger down there than in any part of the country and why? I know obesity is a problem in America in general, but I just tended to notice that more people in that area were more likely to be overweight.
