  1. KIA has a point, most Americans don't realize our gas supply is kept artificially low with the huge subsidies payed with our tax dollars to the energy company's!

And it all goes to the wrong type of energy companies, at the expense of helping the alternatives correct the mess.

I read an article the other day that Arizona can't raise taxes, so the Governor will raise the cost of speeding tickets and push for stricter enforcement to raise revenue!!!!! It was Green Washed by saying people should slow down to conserve gas...

LONG way around the barn if you ask me...

It's like when the tax cutters reduce a certain tax, and then usage fees go up, because the entity that just lost funding from the cut has to get money somehow to survive.

Here in Colorado, the National Forests were always free to camp, fish and hunt in. Now you pay per night. Have you been to a National Park lately? It's like $50.00 for one vehicle to get in!

It is a shell game that most people don't want to understand, because then they might have to deal with their own hypocrisy and conscience.

We've all been suckered into watching one hand over here we think is doing good, while the other hand picks our pockets!

Our national media sucks, and is nothing more than a puppet show presented by corpo to make us all peons again. And like lemmings we are going over the cliff...

  2. lol

you should take this ? over to the political forum (seriously)...they would have a field day on this one I'm sure. LOL.

  3. EXACTLY!  Why do we Americans believe we are entitled to squander petroleum by using $2 per gallon gasoline? I believe you have the right to deplete a non-renewable resource by driving some behemoth that resembles a rubber-tired tank.  But I believe you should be willing to pay to do it.  My proposal is to reduce the income tax by $1000 per person, per year, and to raise the federal tax on gasoline by $2.00 per gallon.  If you drive a car that gets good mileage and drive less than 15,000 miles per year, you will make money.

  4. It is even funnier when these same people blame the oil companies who are providing this (still very cheap) fuel.

  5. do you have a car ? do you have any idea how much tax we pay on  pounds worth of petrol ? its about 80 pence tax and we then get 20 pence worth does this answer your question.
