Why does it seem that only 20% of the time, maybe less, people respond to emails that warrant a reply?

I am getting pretty frustrated about this. I send emails to companies, volunteer orgs, social groups, friends, family...

I'm wondering if it is me or if this happens to everyone?

  1. YEAH BECAUSE PEOPLE HATE SPAM AND MASS EMAILS .. IT HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME BUT I ALSO DELETED HUNDREDS OF EMAILS WITHOUT EVER READING THEM
