  1. Like I'm not under enough pressure....tomorrow is my birthday.

  2. Lol.  I've never heard that, but I think it's safe to say it won't happen to any of my friends.  Hope you have a good birthday!   (((((Jelly)))))

  3. IDK I never really heard that, but now that I think of it my grandpa died 2weeks after his 90th bday. I don't really know anyone else close to me that has died to compare with.

  4. yes!!!!But one women IS 115 tOday 4-24-2008!!!!get 11 points tell U.s her name!!!

  5. That's Just superstition, Or Coincidence. Or maybe not *Shifty eyes*

  6. Because you have to die sometime.  Everyone dies within 6 months prior to or after their birthday.  It's a calendar kind of thing.

  7. Birthdays are exciting for young people, less so as we grow older. Older people often dread another birthday. I think there's more going on than mere coincidence. People have great ability to hang onto life, and sometimes need "permission" to go. My mom, for instance, didn't die until after I was summoned to the nursing home. I am thankful that I could be with her when she took her final breath.

Also, I was with my mother-in-law just minutes before she died. My wife was too emotional and had to leave the room, but I lingered a few minutes, in effect, letting "mom" know that all was OK, that her daughter would be well taken care of ... that she could go now because everything will be all right.

Hospice workers know all about this. Sometimes a person just needs "permission" to die ... an assurance that death is OK. That it is natural. That it is just part of life!

Birthdays send all sorts of clues to our subconscious minds. If the mind subconsciously says, "Well, I'm 92 now ... I guess that's long enough!" then the mind, in effect, gives the person permission to let go.

  8. Some people think it's because of the will to live and how people fight harder to make it past a milestone date and then give up once their past it.  It also occurs with holidays.

We all crave a little drama in our lives and many people also crave drama in their deaths. Perhaps it's a desire to bring closure by completing the cycle. At least as far as natural causes goes... accidental death might simply be the result of partying too much on one's birthday.

  9. Marvin Gaye was shot to death on his own birthday by his father....

  10. becuz ppl have no lives thats why they die on their birthday. or becuz it was their destiny. which ever u think is right. =)

  11. i dunno. it's real sad, though. my mom died on my aunt's birthday & that same aunt died 3 years later on my dad's birthday. ='[
