Why does it show that " phone no. ............. cannot receive sms message at this time in yahoo messenger"?

i try to send sms msg from yahoo messenger to my frnd who uses HUTCH ..iam unable to send but he gets messages from other frnds who send him..why does it happen so? and it is for all the time i try to send it to him............

Your friend, needs to reply to every one out of two messages that you send to him from yahoo messenger. Even if he replies to you on your  cell phone, it will not work, he has to reply to the yahoo server, i.e to your messenger id. Also, every reply of that sort will cost ur friend Rs. 2. Once he replies with a single message, you will be able to send two more messages to him.
