Why does it smell of kebabs when I go past Neasden / Wembley Park on the tube?

It always smells so grim around Neasden when I go past on the jubilee line in the morning. . . Is there a horrid food factory near there or something??

Neasden tube station is used at night as the headquarters for the London Kebab Society. The cook huge kebabs on the platforms and the smell can last for hours. My wife Doner is a member but it is a secret so please shish.

Seems you don't like the smell at all..... Actually there is an eatery there, but it sells bun rolls and pizzas. But the place where the dump is is also nearby. Probably pass by that side. Don't worry, they're clearing it up in a week. ( I asked) Good luck combating the smell,anyway........
