what makes it sting when you put Antiseptics like Alcohol and Iodine on a wound,

  1. Its an acid solution going on to an alkaline wound.


  2. When an antiseptic is applied the stinging you feel is when the germs and pathogens are being killed, the reason it stings is that it kills so many germs that you can feel it, the stinging only means it is doing its job if you wash it off it will stop cleaning and able to let more pathogens into the body.

  4. ITS CLEANIN  THE WOUND AND MAKES IT HEAL FASTER.

  5. because your nerves are exposed and they antiseptics are harse enough on skin..
