Question:

Why does it take 2 tries to open web pages???

When I try to open a page (click on a link), my progress bar will instantly freeze at about 10% and stay there indefinitely until I click the link again and then the page loads almost instantly. Another thing that happens is when I am downloading or running a speed test, my connection seems to turn on & off second by second. I mean, during a speed test, the speed needle is on the way up for a second, then on the way down for a second over and over again until the test completes... This is very annoying! It happens all the time. I reset my cable modem and Apple Base Station router but still the same. It happens at work too and there's a Belkin router there. I use a MacBook. Is it caused by the IP's or is it a hardware/software issue? I have 4 computers on my home network and they all act similar (2 wireless and 2 ethernet). Any advice/ideas would be great. Thanx!

  1. Try this procedure.... right click internet explorer then choose PROPERTIES... you need to delete all of the following: 1) Temporary Internet Files 2) Cookies , 3) History

After you finish, then try to RESET your PC...

And when all of this things did not work, try to DEFRAGMENT your DRIVE C (optional) maybe your system getting slow...
