Why does it take "Women" so long to get ready to go out?

I mean I am ready in 15 minutes tops. Includes brush hair and teeth plus dressing the part. Most or many women will take an hour or longer to get ready, sorting through outfit after outfit. Anyone have a clue why this is?

I call that Lust and Beauty. If my lady is taking to long. I often say...Come on! No lust and beauty. They just want to look their best. Bless their hearts,

dont know it only takes me 20 mins tops, to shower, dress, teeth, hair then out the door

Because they're neurotic. I had a friend back in high school who took 2 -3 hours to get ready to go out. Funny thing though, took her 5-10 minutes to get ready for school. WTF is up with that?

Me depends but without a shower it's 5 -10 mins with shower 20 or so.

I take 30 minutes to get ready but I know many woman who take hours to primp and make sure every hair is perfect...it's exhausting!

yeah, how come they spend so long "doing" the things that no-one looks at like hair, nails, eyelashes, eyebrows, shoes.

If they were plumping up their @sses and the silicone implants, I could understand it!

This is a very real question that has puzzled mankind for thousands of generations.  Even back in the caveman days when we were all hairy neanderthals, they would take longer to get ready with the bone in their hair, smearing mud makeup, wondering what type of animal skin would look best and gazing at their reflections in a watering hole.

I can honestly say I get ready pretty quick. It's been a long time since I been on a date, but when I did have someone to get ready for, I got ready real quick.

But we live in a shallow world, and in a world where guys tend to have the wandering eye, so us females are under pressure to look our utmost best.

I mean, I've had exes where I felt as if I had to compete with Penthouse looking girls, and I'm not even in the same league as them. I look good now, but in a different kind of way.

I'm with you, 10-15 mins from the moment I crawl out of bed and I'm ready to go lol. Maybe it's because I'm married and I'm not trying to impress anyone but I don't remember taking much longer than that before I was married.

What? I sense a bit of des je vous here. Men, if they look presentable at all, require a lot of time primping and pruning. Women have the routine down pat.

maybe because they want to impress you, also remember hair takes a long time! and we also shower and stuff, also make-up, shoes, underwear all of that stuff, its harder for women, because ladies have to be the pretty people on a date.

No clue. I could ask my hubby the same thing! Takes him at least an hour to get ready. I don't get it. The man's bald! Maybe he's polishing his head. NOT THAT HEAD! He has me for that!
