Why does it take so long for my computer load and my internet explorer?

I just got Kaspersky 2009 anti-virus and my computer is soooo slow.

it takes forever to restart and for my internet explorer or any other program to load up.

What kind of computer do you have. You might try doing a virus scan and if that doesn't work you may have an update you need to download. You may want to try to reboot your computer. Try turning it off and restarting it. I sometimes have the same problem. Like today I spent over 4 hours trying to download an update. I know it can be so upsetting sometimes.

the reason y is bcuz u have either to many pograms on ur computer so when ur computer scans for virises it takes a long time for it to go threw all programs or ur anti virus has a problem. one way to solve ur problem is to clean up ur computer, take off all ur programs u dont use u can do that by going into control panel and then add or remove programs.......the other thing is i would recomend getting a different virus protections the kind that u chose might not be compatible with ur comuter that kind is the best for macs but outside of that its not the best, so u could take it off the same way i just explained and get some from somewhere else in the mean time be careful not to go to any sits that arent secure
