Why does it take some moderators so long to update posts?

I have made 3 posts since yesterday and the latest post is dated yesterday at 10:41 am. I do not understand this.

If the group isn't very active possibly they don't check in very often.  Check the graph at the bottom of the group page.  It will show  the history of how many posts there are.  If there isn't much going on maybe look for a more active group.

weekends probably show more of a delay, people are out dong things. if you're on post moderation, it takes as long as it does for them to get to it. hopefully they'll check their group real soon to see they have pendings there..
