Why does junebug look so sad in intervies?

even on shifting gears dale looked sad and i don't know why he should be happy after all he is the most popular driver,,, and quite the ladies man!

I absolutely love Jr. I think he is sad because he has been cheated out of his wins.  He has great race cars and a top team but the win is right there and he just hasn't got there yet.  You know all the money, fame and fortune can't buy you happiness.

I think he's just down because he wants a win so bad and hasn't gotten it yet and he's got alot of pressure on him.  But he needs to relax cause his win will come soon and he is 3rd in points and without a win that's pretty good!! Go JR!!

Well he is probably tired after the race and disappointed. Especially the last 2 races.  Getting robbed of one and having his car changed and not knowing about it the other,  I would be disppointed too.

He got ripped off...even tho it's racing that was a cheap shot. Not as cheap as brian vickers wrecking him and Jimmie at Talladega....no woman or anything else can fill the void of the need for speed/victory when you are competitive and drive your guts out like JR does...

Of course he wants to win and that's a big part of it. Yes, he might be the most popular driver, but that doesn't mean he is happy about that. Dale Jr. has a huge amount of respect for his sport and all of the history behind it!! Unfortunately ( and I'll try my best not to generalize here), there are a "few" (meaning a lot) of his fans that don't represent him well. They are disrespectful and just down right ignorant of the sport he holds so close to his heart. He addresses his fans time and time again, telling them, don't do this, or don't act like that, but they just choose to ignore him. Truth be known, if he could, he'd trade a lot of you in for some TRUE Nascar fans that love and respect the sport the same way he does!! That's what makes him sad the MOST!!

simple - he's sad, and disappointed, because he hasn't won in a while.  who wouldn't be?  this isn't a junior-bashing answer - i believe he is really disappointed because he is one of the few drivers who has heart and has the fire in his belly to win, and it just hasn't happened ... yet.  

it will though, and probably soon, and then i'll bet dollars to "the donuts he does on the track" that he'll be smiling.

i think it is because his public speaking skills are still being worked on, and he really has to concentrate to try and improve them. sponsors are becoming very critical of the people that they are giving all of this money to who represent them. give it time and i think you will see a different jr in interviews , but i hope they don't turn him into a robot like some drivers have become.
