Why does linux stink and is mac better than windows ?

Linux doesn't stink, it just requires a more educated user than Windows or Mac OS.  Mac OS does have some advantages, but it also has disadvantages such as price and lack of software.  Picking the right OS all depends upon the user and their needs.  For me, a combination of Windows and Linux is best.

They both have good and bad features, so its up for you to decide - Are you more of a gamer or a person who enjoys multimedia.

Mac is especially good for designers or people who enjoys doing multimedia work, also it is more user friendly than Windows - less common errors, and less maintenance is required.

Windows is preferred by most users, because most home computer owners has Windows. Windows is probably a better choice for you if you like playing games or programming because it has a wider ability range than MacOS.
