Why does love hurt when they go away for awhile?

ok here why I'm asking i got a lot of guys asking me out and back out but i already have some and some of these guys i kinda like but the one I'm with now makes me happy and loves me for who i am not what i got and what i can give. i don't what to lose him. and when he left for two weeks to be with his family cause his mom had died it felt like its going to be for ever, why did it feel like that.

you're jealous. with the attention he gives his mom. Oh sure, he's going to give lots of attention to her, and the fact that she's dead and all.

Try considering what you would do if you were in his position and your own mom died. (knocks on wood)
