  1. because all the fat is removed and it taste like water

  2. uh...fat. Fat = Flavor

  3. The fat makes it flavored. When they take the fat out it loses some flavor.

  4. Well, the milk fat is taken out.  That's why it's so thin and watery looking.  I only drink 2%because I cannot stand the taste of 1% or skim.  The extra calories are worth it.

  5. The unhomogenized milk has it's fat rise to the top.  The fat is then "skimmed" off the top.

Regular milk has 4% fat & cholesterol

    2% has 2% milk fat & cholesterol

1% has 1% & skim has no fat & no cholesterol.

That's why it tastes diluted.  If you're not used to it mix low fat with higher fat till you get accustomed to taste.

All milk contains same amount of calcium & Vit D.
