Why does lysol and other cleaniung supplies only kill 99.9% of germs of surfaces?

  2. The truth is, Lysol or other cleaning supplies don't actually kill viruses or "germs" because viruses aren't "alive". They aren't classified as "living" because they don't correspond with the requirements for a living organism. What the products do is they inactivates the viruses' abilities to "infect".

    And 99.9% is just an approximation. They can't say "100%" because they can't guarantee anything. The chances of the cleaning supply "killing" everything is unlikely. Otherwise it would be false advertising.

  3. you can't claim to kill it all ,even if you couldn't find any alive you could not say 100%,too many variables to consider it's just a legal "out" in case of litigation,somebody gets sick ,they have used the product you say you killed it all so how did they get sick?..........tom

  4. because 0.01 of the germs get away.
